The indoor track and field season is delivering on its promise of exciting performances, with several collegiate records falling in the opening weeks.

At the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational in Albuquerque, multiple NCAA athletes posted qualifying marks for the upcoming championships.

The women's 60-meter dash saw particularly impressive performances, with three runners dipping under 7.10 seconds. On the men's side, the mile continues to be a showcase event with competitive fields at nearly every major invitational.

The NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships are scheduled for March, and the race for qualifying marks is heating up.
